I’m excited to share details of an exciting new campaign we are launching for World Water Day this year.

On March 10, we will launch the Planet Water Challenge, a new initiative designed to engage both individual and corporate donors, inspire a greater connection to our mission, and advance our fundraising objectives.
How the Planet Water Challenge Works:
On World Water Day (Sunday, March 22,) participants will:
Drink only water for 24 hours
Skip the morning coffee, lunchtime soda, or wine with dinner, and choose water instead.
Calculate their savings
Add up what they would have spent that day on coffee, tea, soft drinks, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, etc.
Donate your total savings
Contribute that amount to the Planet Water Foundation to support clean water projects.
Share their experience
Post on social media using #planetwaterchallenge to spread awareness and inspire others
Changing lives
Every donation will support the deployment of AquaTower water filtration systems in schools which lack access to safe water. In the week following World Water Day, we will share photos and videos from deployed projects to demonstrate the tangible impact of the campaign.

From March 10–22, we will promote the campaign through engaging video content, social media outreach, digital advertising, and email communications to our partners and broader supporter base. We will also invite our corporate partners to activate the challenge internally with their employees and stakeholders.
Our intention is to establish the Planet Water Challenge as an annual World Water Day initiative. As this is our inaugural year, we would greatly appreciate your support in helping us build momentum.
